Who can use Clockout

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission. You're responsible for activity on your account, so keep your sign-in secure.

Your content and what others see

You keep ownership of what you put into Clockout, such as goals, project names, notes, and rooms. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to run Clockout, including showing your name, photo, project, goal, and session time to other users while you're locked in. Don't include confidential or sensitive information in anything others can see.

Acceptable use

Don't use Clockout to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including by sharing content you don't have rights to;
• harass, threaten, impersonate, or spam others, including through boosts, room names, or goals;
• post sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate content;
• scrape, overload, probe, or interfere with Clockout or other users' accounts.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Clockout in ChatGPT

Using Clockout in ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI's terms. Clockout is an independent product and isn't made, endorsed, or sponsored by OpenAI. ChatGPT decides when to use Clockout's tools based on your requests, so check that your sessions and notes are right. You can correct them or ask us to.

Signing in with X

If you sign in with X, your use of X is also subject to X's Terms of Service. Clockout is an independent product and isn't made, endorsed, or sponsored by X Corp. Clockout only reads your basic X profile and never posts or acts on X for you. You can revoke its access in X's settings at any time; you can still use Clockout by signing in another way, or ask us to delete your account.

Third-party content

Rooms may play videos hosted by YouTube. That content is provided by third parties under their own terms, and we aren't responsible for it.

Changes and ending your use

We may change or discontinue features. You can stop using Clockout at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll give notice before the change takes effect.

Disclaimers and liability

Clockout is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Timers, stats, and streaks are for motivation and may occasionally be inaccurate. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.
